Voltage Protection Mode Malfunctioning

I recently had a small bang to the Phantom one. After changing batteries and starting a new flight with a fully charged battery reading 98% full, after a few seconds I get the flashing red and the copter wants to land. I simply cannot get a flight going, unless I disable the voltage protection in the Naza software which is not a way I would ever fly. I just did it for a low level test in front of me. It flies normally, except as I stated in no voltage protection mode. What is a way to remedy this. Do I need a new naza controller. By the way, when I hook up to the usb and run the naza software it shows the exact voltage, with protection set a default values of which I am way above.

Any suggestion?
