Vision Props and Guards on a P1

Hi Gang

I have a P1 and I just got a set of knock-off Vision props and guards. The props are the correct 9.4 inch diameter and the guards appear to be 10 inch diameter. This means that the prop tips are well inside the guards (see pic) and, if the guards flex, the prop tips will hit them. To me this seems like they defeat the purpose.

Do the factory Vision props and guards look like this?

This is what the vision props look like. Can't comment on the guards except to say the don't look like that.

What I'm really looking for is info with respect to the prop tips being inside the outer ring of the prop guards. It looks like the tips could hit the radial support if either one flexed too much. I would have thought that, if they flex, the tips should rub on the ring and the ring on these guards is too big for that to happen.

The tips of the original props on a P1 also stay inside the rim of the original guards. The chance of the props being damaged from hitting the guards is very much smaller than the chance of them being damaged from hitting everything else if you don't use prop guards.
