So I have had three flights. Never crashed. Forgot to remove the plastic gimbal protector twice. So the app said to remove it. On my last flight the camera started just jerking about in all directions. Flew out over the water. There was one or two small jerks, and then after 2:20 the camera just flipped upwards to film the sky for 60 seconds. Then it flipped 180 and filmed straight down for the remainder. What gives? Can this thing break by forgetting to remove the piece of plastic that is there to protect it during transport?

Have you tried hooking up to the NAZA assitant and verifying that all the firmware is up to date? Calibrated the IMU?

Yes they were updated and calibrated. Would you believe it seems there was a loose cable. I pushed down on both front connectors on the camera gimble, and the problem seems to have gone away. I'll post a link to the video once I get it uploaded to youtube...

I'll post this in the "Photos and videos" group as well. If that is considered a double post, please remove one and insert a link (I don't know how to do that).
