Vision plus Bricked---

I had a battery at about 20 cycles so I wanted to discharge to 8%.
I had it in my vision plus v2 and it hit 8 so it shut down and removed battery . charged it till lights go out.
I want to see battery status and so forth so I start up assistant software and quad. at connection it say mismatch and update to 3.08---sure no problem I actually had it anyhow ( I thought)
47% and error pops up----over and over , reboot pc and quad. still at 47 or 48 % its done
quad makes ugly noises and not nice flashing lights!

I remember the pc in my wife's office is win 7 not the win 8 /10 I have been using with it in garage. I install driver and assistant on her win 7 pc , connect my vision plus, and thank somebody , it updated and all is good.

at this point yes. but for several hours and repeated updates no.

actually posting so that is someone hits same dead end to try a different pc or operating system.

I was dead with only strange lights and beeps for about 3 hours,

without a different pc I would STILL be a no go.
