I have a vision + that went swinging briefly a few weeks ago. :shock:
It was retrieved quickly and the lights were still on when it come out of the water, yelp salt water.
But once thoroughly dried with a blow dryer and sitting for 24 hours the lights were displaying erratically and the motors don't spin up. I wasn't expecting much so no big surprise.
I have a new one and the GPS really struggles to pull up satellites in the same places where the other one worked great. I tried the foil mod and different firmware versions, no luck :?
Question:
What are the chances the GPS in the salty dog (old one) is still good?
Any thoughts on what components other than plastic and metal that might be salvageable? No moisture prevention had been applied.
If I plug the old camera and gimbal into the new unit for testing will it possibly damage the new unit?
