I have crashed my p2 vision plus, broke the ribbon cable. I have installed a new ribbon cable, made sure the sensor is lined up as per youtube video with a but of glue on the shaft.... The camera is still going crazy.

Now my question what is the correct position of the shaft that is holding the actual camera? There is a screw which holds the camera from sliding off. One side of the shaft is round and the other side is straight. The screw gets screwed into the straight part or the oval part?

What else can make the camera go out of control? I have searched, and seen every possible video online.
I have followed this video and did all steps, now everything lines up.

Please any help will be good.

What you have there is an extremely fragile piece of electromechanics. Many causes for malfunction. Reseat all the cables. Maybe a bent shaft on one of the motors. Is every flex cable connection fully seated and locked? Best of luck. I thought I knew something about fixing stuff, but ended up sending mine out for repair. Best $100 I ever spent.
