Vision+ camera acting erratically

I have had my Phantom 2 vision+ for a 3days now. The camera
gimbal motor Moves a round when not in flight. When in flight the camera
Swivels to the left when I'm just going Forward. The video I recorded is also
distorted. Do I need to exchange it for another phantom?

That does sound abnormal. I would exchange it.

My first Vision+ (crashed and sold it) would keep the camera steady when not in flight and also in flight.

The gimbal would move to the left or right if you moved the yaw controls (left stick - left/right). I imagine that is to anticipate the turn and keep the video smooth.
