VISION 2 PROP GAURDS

    ANYONE MAKING OR KNOW WERE TO GET VISION 2 PROP GAURDS. THE VISION ONES ARE TO SMALL,ALSO
    HOW ABOUT SOME CARBON FIGER PROPS.

    I would say skip the guards. Unnecessary extra weight in my opinion. Carbon fiber props, HECK YEAH!!!

    Search on Google or eBay....there are some out there. I got them and they work fine. I think they also sub-consciously make bystanders feel more comfortable.

    thank you
    wanted for those trainer flights and landings
    so I don't chew up a prop on a tip over on landing

    My P2V prop guards just arrived from a HK supplier via Amazon - seem quite robust as they should be for $25! Delivery was slow, about one week more than advised. I've had a couple of minor tip overs whilst taking off in short but wiry grass, no damage so far but the guards should help.

    They make the bird look much bigger and help with visuals when flying high , it may be worth painting the lead pair in fluorescent paint to assist orientation. Also, the bird seems noisier now that they have been fitted - the dog was NOT happy. Otherwise no noticeable difference in performance.
