Vision 2 battery in a Phantom 2?

Hi guys, I just purchased a new battery, but my Phantom 2 won't start with it!
Here's the battery I purchased: DJI Phantom 2 Vision Intelligent Flight Battery 5200mAh

So there might be a little mismatch since the battery is meant for a 2 Vision, while I own a 2.

Any idea how to get this battery to work in my phantom?

They use the same battery. Have you checked it in the assistant? Does it recognise it as a DJI battery ?

Hm I didn't even know there was an assistant. In fact I've never connected my phantom to a computer so far. I'll have a look. But I remember the sales person telling me something about upgrading the battery's firmware. Is it even possible that a battery has firmware? Or did he mean the copter's firmware?

It has firmware.. and I suggest you really plug the phantom into a computer and do some stick calibration at the very least.
There's also a bundle of firmware updates to fix various issues. Enjoy..
