Hi my videos and photos are always Dark... Grrrr I'm new so wondering if I'm missing a setting.

I can use lighten them up but then I get the over exposure notifications.[IMG]

    Two points.
    1. That shot has a large dark area for foreground and a bright sky with the sun glaring.
What's the camera to do? It can't expose for both.
Try to have a similar brightness across your pictures rather than half bright & half dark

    2. Keep an eye on the camera data in the screen.
See where the blue EV-0.3 is in this screenshot.
You can adjust to under or overexpose with the thumbwheel.
If yours says EV-2.0 or -3.0 you have it set to underexpose by 2 or 3 stops.
Getting that back to EV0.0 for most scenes will give you good results.

One thing to remember as a photography hobbiest it's always easier to add lighting to a photo and not lose quality as to trying to darken a over exposed photo "just my 2 cents" I by no means am a pro but I love photography I use photoshop for editing not sure what ur using to maybe help give some more pointers
