I recently moved up from a Phantom 1 with a GoPro Hero 3 Black, to a Phantom 3 with its own camera. At home, I have Sony Vegas Pro 9 for an editor; at work, ver 12 of same.
My GoPro outputs .MP4 video and it works fine in both versions of Vegas Pro, but when I used the Phantom camera's files (.MOV and .MP4), Vegas 9 didn't recognize them. At work, Vegas 12 worked fine (with the .MP4 - haven't tried the .MOV).
I assume it's a newer version of the video or something. They won't play thru my BlueRay player, either, if it reads the files off a flash drive.
Question is: Is there a way to get these newer videos to play on my "older" equipment?
