What is the transmission quality in auto mode. Trying to increase distance and read where lowering to 4 Mbps would help. New to radio controlled devices so any help is appreciated.

The video will vary in auto mode, but it will be 720 resolution. The quality degrades only slightly when reducing the bit rate to 4mbps. You see a few more artifacts.
On a P4 the best methods to increase range in order by cost is:
Install the 32 channel hack, use ch30 (free).
Use a Windsurfer $15.
Install a DBS2 antenna with clean install kit $150.
After the kit is installed, if you're not happy, add amps and battery, $140.
Option to above:
Buy a used inspire 1 controller, $300
The Inspire controller with just a Windsurfer gets my P4 out three miles over vacant hills or water.

Can you point me in the right direction for a working hack for the DJI Go 4 app? Everything I've found and tried doesn't work. Currently running the iOS version v4.0.2 (2776) of the DJI Go 4 app.
