Firmware version can be found in the DJI GO App. If you go to the main menu, (not the ready-to-fly menu) It's in the sub-menu on the bottom, with the 3 dots...
As far as your movies go, have you set the Phantom 3's video recording settings to NTSC or PAL and the proper format the movie maker program can read?
Not all software can read all formats, NTSC or PAL being a biggie.
