Video Recording question

So i started recording a video with my drone for my flight which was about 18 mins long and for some reason it cut it into 2 videos why does it do this?? and is there a way to prevent it?

I'm pretty new to this myself but I have had that happen with a GoPro several times. I guess you're supposed to fix it in editing. Just my guess here...

Maybe you hit the 4 GB file size limit of the FAT32 file system on the SD card?

is that in the settings?

There are no settings that can be changed,it is what it is and we have to live with it.
The two (or more) files can be joined together without missing a frame in any video editing app.

Was your 1st file 4 GB? If yes, then splitting was caused by the FAT32 limitation.

I haven't tried if DJI P3P understands exFAT or NTFS. I guess not?
