I find that YouTube does not transmit the quality that the GoPro is capturing. (I know, dah) What is hosting service has the best quality? Pay or free.

What I don't like about Vimeo is it's HD off (quite poor) or HD on - too big to play smoothly at busier times!
Youtube has a spread of resolutions so you can play the best option to suit.

YT quality seems reasonable now to me, and they have certainly improved immensely over the years.
It really used to easily look awful with pixellated squares appearing due to their compression.

To me Vimeo looks a little smoother, but youtube looks a little sharper. Very similar though.

Thanks folks. After some testing, I could not find any difference. However, there is some interesting stuff about videos available on Vimeo.
