Video goggles

I did some reading & research for the use if a "Video Goggle for use on the P2V. Can any of the folks in here using an iphone 4s for example tell me a proven setup for this? I know they sell glasses, but of course this is for outdoor flying fpv use.

I was going to go for those Zeiss Cinemizer goggles and connect them to my iPhone via a Lightning adapter, but they are hellish expensive so I might wait for the new Fatshark goggles that have HDMI in.
