I was able to get the ProDad Defishr program from a friend who upgraded to Adobe and did't need the ProDad software anymore.
It works well for the one specific function.

I use ProDrenalin version sine you can do all your editing needs with this as well as export final product. They did update this to include the Vision camera (FC200) in January 2014. Updates available on ProDad website. A very good and cheap alternative and available for both Mac and PC.

There is a free trial version, downside is that only very short video output (10 Sec.) so you can see the final product. I did this and when I looked at it decided to purchase, go a registration number via email and was good to go.

iMovie was pretty straightforward. Watched a YouTube tutorial and then I went to town with my video, cut, transitions, music etc

No correction for the wide-angle lens in iMovie. ProDad do
