I haven't flown my Phantom P2 in a long time. Lost interest but decided to play with again. mine is a version 1.
I decided tonight to order a Version 2 controller. After I ordered it I thought I better review my software to see how I had left it. I am still at the 3.6 assistant with the 3.8 firmware which worked great so I really don't plan on upgrading it. I did a search and see people that upgraded to 3.12 had issues. I now see 3.14 is out there.
Then I fired up the RC assistant which is version 1.1. I see there is now a 1.2 version available. I looked in the release notes and there is nothing telling what the 1.2 changes are. I did download it to another computer and saw some differences in the notes at the bottom of the screen.
So my question is two fold. 1. Do I need to update to the 1.2 RC Assistant. 2. What are the differences in 1.2 form 1.1?
I know I need to check the new controller in the 3.6 assistant and recalibrate the transmiter but can't tell if I need the 1.2 RC assistant.
