Curious if anybody has resolved the issue of upgrading their TX to the V3, thumbwheel version, for a P2V+ V2 and experience the frustration of not being able to keep the camera in a fixed position, after moving the "spring-loaded" thumbwheel. Before I share my solution, I want to see if this has been addressed in a previous thread. (no search option in new format).

your camera has to be on a xxxx.6 FW in order for it to work.
NAZA has to be on later then 3.08
and controller has to be on xxx.31 FW

of course as mentioned above, could be just as simple as calibration and/or when connected to the assistant
go to Basic - RC and make sure "Upgraded" controller is selected.

So, "hunch", pardon my ignorance. What are you referring to about the camera having to be on a XXXX.6FW in order for it to work? Same with controller?? I'm familiar with the "upgrade" selection in the firmware, however.

    Thanks,
    Jim

1.06 firmware, i think that's the latest one for the actual gimbal.
previous one (1.04) did not work with the upgraded controller with a silver dial.
