Just little heads up ,I might've found another good feature or maybe curse of the new V3 controller.
When arming the motors before take off in atti or manual mode. You must throttle lock first before going into the arming sequence (down right elevator/down left roll)..

If you don't throttle lock and the elevator stick returns to the center default position, the phantom will simply take off possibly sideway If you apply proper pitch/roll control . The motors won't spin in low rpm like they do in gps mode..

Could some v3 pilot confirm and also
previous version vison+ pilots please elaborate on what your phantom does when attempting to take off in manual or atti.

PS: my v3 works fine in GPS mode it's calibrated and the whole nine .

Of course it would take off on it's own in manual mode because it is assuming that the throttle is at 50% power.
