I have searched and also seen the youtube vid on it but is there a step by step guide on it ?

Most connectors just push but one (2) look to be ZIF ?
Bit hard to tell as they're soooo small and my eyes are soooo old.

Can someone steer me in the right direction (no, not the old farts home  )

Is this that black cable that's a real pain to track down because DJI figures its not a user replaceable part? I recently replaced one for a friend who crashed a different friends P2V+ while flying it inside after being explicitly told not to fly indoors....
Its not horribly tough if you're used to small electronics work. Easier than some of the iPhone repair I've done. If you do come across a step by step guide, let me know. Being the new owner of a P2V+ I'm sure that day will come.*knock on wood*

From memory(I didn't take pics at the time, though I should have) all the connectors are ZIF of some sort, most have those little leavers on the back side to release the cable. The one that was a pain was the second one on the cable starting at the camera end. I couldn't figure out how to get the back off the arm to get at the lever and it was getting late so we just pushed it in carefully. Everything is working great now. I have yet to find a video of the procedure, I referenced a couple others to get the idea. If you want I can take some pics on mine and give a few pointers. For the most part, I removed the metal panel that held each board in place and was able to lift the release levers with a plastic spludger.

This one about reseting the horizon helped a bit . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Ii1i3-x3I
