Using the Micro SD card multiple times

I am sure this is a silly question, but I would appreciate any insight. My P3P came with a micro SD card. I have been recording footage onto the card and I have almost filled the card.

Is there a way to delete the footage that is on the card? Or do I just keep recording on top of the old footage or how does that work? I am assuming these micro SD cards must be able to be used multiple times.

Is there any downside to re-using these cards? Such as the quality of the footage degrades if used more than once.

Put into computer and either move files off card or delete the files. You can record thousands of times onto an SD card

If you want to delete everything on the card you can use the Go app connected to your p3p and format the card. Otherwise, connect the usb cable that came with the phantom. One end to the camera gimbal and the other to your computer. At that point you can transfer the footage and any stills to your computer for storage.
