It occurred to me that I may have a predicament….

I use a MacBook Pro laptop and then a Samsung Note 3 mobile phone, which I'd use for my upcoming purchase of the P2V+.

Is there going to be a problem in the following scenario:

I use the Mac computer to connect the P2V+ to for all updates from DJI using the DJI software for calibration purposes (PT2) etc…. but then use my Samsung Note 3 on the controller with the DJI app from Play Store to see the video and control the camera and take photos?

OR

Am I going to have to use one or the other platforms in it's entirety to fly/operate the P2V+?

(Hope this question makes sense?)

Thanks for your input.

I can't see any reason why that would be a problem; I fly using a Note 3 and it works very well. Admittedly, I use a PC to install firmware updates and to configure the IMU and RC controller, but the DJI firmware remains the same regardless of the platform used to set it up.

I hope this helps.

I use my mac for software, calibration etc.

I have both an iPhone and an android phone for when i am flying, it is not a problem
