Hi I'm new to the quadcopter world and was wondering if it would be possible to attach a small android phone to my phantom to use for gps tracking? I'm not sure if the phone would interfere with the transmitter? any help would be greatly appreciated

Not sure about the interference but I have a gps tracker for my GS4, life360 and it's crap.
Find my iphone is second to none, so if this will work then I'd get an iPhone over the android.

If you're in the UK, I'd use a Fi-Li-Fi tracker which is essentially the heart of a GPS phone with special software. They don't interfere but should be away from the copter when doing a compass dance.

You track the gps tracker with your phone. Otherwise it is too expensive and adds too much weight.
