Use of iPod instead of iPhone

I decided that I would try using my iPod instead of my iPhone for telemetry and FPV so I could keep my phone free for other uses while flying, but it occurred to me that the iPod couldn't get the maps (Hadn't tried it yet). Can anyone confirm that?

Hi slothead,

I'm using an iPod 5th gen for telemetry and FPV instead of my phone... and it works great! Just connect it to your Wi-Fi (internet) and cache or download your maps while in the DJI Vision App prior to flying and you'll have them then when you hit the field.
