Use H3-3D GCU with H3-2D Gimbal?

Does anybody know if I can use an H3-3D GCU with a H3-2D Gimbal?

Does anybody know if I can use an H3-3D GCU with a H3-2D Gimbal?

I haven't seen any specific examples of that combo but it should work. The GCU's seem to be the same hardware, and you can use an H3-2D GCU on an H3-3D.
