You need to use the go app to put drone in data mode so you can.
under advanced settings you will see a "enter flight data mode" It was slow coming up for me, but eventually laptop saw drone, and I copied the data files.
So drone needs to be on.

Depends on whether you use a PC or a Mac. The process for Mac is quite complicated, but doable.

The flight logs that you extract will be gobbledegook unless you run them through a data converter. @BudWalker has developed one of the best and is easy to use once you understand what you're looking for. The .DAT files contain lots and lots of extremely detailed information.

The .DAT file is different from what HealthyDrones provides. Look here to see what is available in the .DAT file.
