usb debugging ?

iam using a ipad 2 mini 32 gig cellular with my P3A. do i need this setting on or off in the DJI GO app.
whats it actually do ?. also there is a setting on/off for TUTORIAL, i have put this on because iam a beginner but what does it do..

Hi, On a Android device you need to enable USB debugging, but on a IOS you don,t.

. Tutorial turns on help what the diferent icons does on the screen.

You don't actually need it on Android either, it certainly seems to work just the same turned off.
It doesn't seem to matter either way but they say turn it on so probably best to.

On my Samsung tab4 it was needed, otherwise it tnever connected to the phantom or even started the app.
