USB charging your Phantom remote

Hi everyone

This is my first post....I got delivery of my phantom 3 standard today! Happy so far although haven't flown due to weather.

My question is to do with the USB charging on the remote....I notice the supplied cable for charging the remote doesn't connect to the plug supplied for charging the drone battery.

What I have done is put the remote cable into my samsung phone charger and connected it to the remote that way and its charging fine. Is it ok to do it this way?

Just wanted to check before I do this regularly.

Yes. Or, you could plug it into a USB port on a computer.

Thanks Msinger! Im happy to charge through my PC....just mindful that it would take longer
