Urgent help needed

Hi There,
Just joined today so apologise if this has been discussed before.

Last week I flew my Phantom standard and all was going well. All of a sudden the camera went all erratic like it had a mind of its own.

Now when I turn the quad on you get the start up bleep the rotors flicker but no life in the camera, then the rear lights flash orange.

I was using litchi so I downloaded DJI go to see if there was any update's. there was. but it also said I had gimbal and camera error (with some links to a video which don't seem to be there any more). I thought I would still go ahead with the update to see if this corrected the problem, but it couldn't complete the update because it wasn't connecting to the camera.

May be worth mentioning that in the summer I crashed it and broke the gimbal arm and ribbon cable. I bought replacements and fitted them and it has worked fine up until now.

Can anyone help?

Which connections do I need to check, is it the Ribbon cable??

Because I want to be up and flying??

I would unplug the grey cables and re-seat them.

If that has no effect try checking all flat ribbon clips/end sockets. I know it's some what difficult dealing with that ribbon, but it's something I would try.

ok so are you talking about the grey ribbon cable or are there other grey cables to try?

Any cable plugged into the gimbal module.
