upgraded to ver 3, now motors won't start

I'm a newbe here so I'll describe this as best I can. Just got my vision on Monday. Got it all set up synced and compass calibrated as directed. Took off and with hands off the sticks, the vision made big 25' circles that I could not stop. Minor crash getting it down. Reclaibrated the compass, same thing happened. Hooked the vision up to the DJI assistant, ver 3.0. The software advised me to upgrade two items, the one at the top of the list and one other. Recalibrated the compass. started everything up, connect light OK. The mortors would not start. Reversed the upgrade, still no motors. calibrated the sticks, no motors. Called DJI tech support in LA. They said that this might be a problem with the upgrades. Said thjey are working on it. Anyone else with this problem? Any ideas?
