Upgrade FC40 Camera?

I was wondering if there as a way to upgrade the Stock FC40 camera yet still use the same FC40 holder?

Basically is there another camera that would fit in the FC40 camera holder?

As far as I know, there is not another camera that will attach to the FC40 and still retain the live video feed. I believe you could attach a GoPro with the Phantom 1 mount, but again, you wouldnt get the FPV which is the selling point for the FC40.

There are two different directions for "upgrade". If you want better FPV, you use a video camera and video tx/rx/monitor setup.
If you want higher quality, you typically go for a GoPro. You can go both directions at the same time, and use a GoPro with a video tx/rx/monitor setup.
Only trick for the FC40 is to use a 2.4Ghz (or anything other than 5.8Ghz) frequency setup. The big thumbscrew mount is a standard GoPro mount,
although you'd typically replace it with an anti-vibration bracket.
