Updating remote?

I bought a p3 adv. it says remote needs firmware update. When I do update I have no rc signal. Once I undo update it goes back to normal but says I need to update? Anyone else had this issue? Its running 1.5.8 Updates to 1.6.0 and that's when I have no rc signal.

You need to update the Phantom firmware before updating the remote controller firmware. Follow these instructions.
