You can find the firmware release notes on the P3S downloads page. Check the app store on your mobile device to check if you're using the latest version of DJI GO.
current FW is 1.8.10 , GO APP is 3.1.3 android ( fixed problems with the dreaded 3.1.2 version ) 3.1.5 IOS, firmware and go app combination is stable no problems , normally you can go to DJI - PHANTOM 3 STANDARD - DOWNLOADS - RELEASE NOTES to find current FW and APP version but they are not up to date for some reason .

I am missing something...where are the firmware notes. It shows app version 3.1.4, thought there is a later version.

3.1.5 is the current iOS version of DJI GO. That's why I recommended you check the app store on your mobile device. It'll always show you if you have the latest version installed.
