Unstable night flight

I noticed while hovering in my front yard last night my P4P was pretty unstable. Is this normal? I feel like my P4 was a lot more stable even my previous P4P during night.

Did you have a solid and stable GPS lock? During the day VPS can compensate for poor GPS when near the ground, at night it would be GPS only thus the quality of the GPS fix should be more critical I would think.

Day vs. night really should not make a difference. If you see it again take a close look at how many satellites you are picking up.

I had some helluva winds yesterday at my place (in SC), when trying to fly. Had to quit early.
