    from what i hear, the tough leash antenna that kit comes with, is poorly made and that fpvlr is much high quality, even if they look the same.

    for tough leash, it only has 4 coils instead of 6 coils, the coils are not spaced evenly, the coils end at completely random spots, the soldering on the copper plates looks pretty terrible. better off paying the 20 extra bucks and getting the fpvlr kit.

    You don't need signal boosters, If I remember FPVLR noted here in one of these threads that their latest un-boosted antenna's actually work just as good without boosters. I think the boosters are a bit gimmicky myself. I have a DBS Itelite antenna but even without that your limit is going to be your battery (4 miles out 4 miles back with stock P3A and RC, no mods). Battery is the limit if your looking for range with stock equipment.
