UAV Strong Arm w/removable prop guards?

I ordered the UAV Strong arm kit and will be installing that soon but have a set of removable prop guards, never installed but may at some point if needed. Wondering if these 2 can be used together or not. I realize it may require longer screws but wondering if it's even recommended.

So far I have not found a reason to use the prop guards but I'll be doing camp outs with the boy scouts and may find some comfort in having guards on while filming activities. Sometimes boys do stupid things so...

I see that you asked this question many months ago, so you may already be aware of this item...
Strong Arm for Removable Prop Guards- 2 hole type
Not sure how these differ from the "regular" strong arm product. Looks like the 6-hole strong arm goes on first, then the 2-hole clip for the prop guard goes over that.
