At UAV Mobile Station we are proud to offer our customers some of the best and most trusted UAV mobile stations in the industry. Our mobile stations are a great choice for professional UAV and drone operators looking for a single station that does it all. The operator will have the power source and working area to perform on-site repairs that may require soldering or part installation. The mobile station includes an optional desktop with the processing power to run video editing, 3D mapping, and CAD software. Drone operators will no longer want to fly using traditional methods after flying FPV in the comfort of air conditioning and HD TV.

OK.... so now tell me how you maintain visual contact with your bird while sitting inside a trailer.

If you see in the pictures by FFA rules visual contact must be kept, so we use a spotter.

It's fairly common to have the Visual Observer in Lin Of Site with the aircraft while the operator is monitoring the screen (inside the van/trailer or outside). That's exactly how we do it with SAR missions.

It just seems like a lot of hoopla just so some fellow can sit at a desk and "fly". (perhaps fulfilling his Walter Mitty fantasies of piloting military drones from thousands of miles away????)

I'd feel like a real jerk sitting in the air-conditioned trailer while my spotter had to be outside watching.
