TX5804 mount

I know this may sound stupid. But I am a total new guy to FPV. thank you in advance I just got my FPV kit and it sees like it is plug and play. Except the Flysight transmitter is wrapped real nice in plastic film. I know because of the heat sink it throws off heat I take it the film comes off. Second question Where would you mount the double sided tape on the circuit board side. Thanks Tony
