How do you tell if a Phantom's stock TX's batteries are getting low?

It "seems" that my flights start becoming more erratic as they get low but I don't know if that's my imagination.

Sorry, RTFM. Ok, less than 4v should beep. Got out the volt-ohm meter and I'm at 6v.

So, battery not the problem. Now I'm still trying to figure out why the behavior is squirrely. Tends to rotate (yaw) very, very slowly to the left and the coordinates drift even though I have the correct number of GPS signals.

i believe someone told me in another post that your TX has a low voltage warning, although I dont ever remember reading anything about this officially from DJI. Another guy said he has probably 300 hours on his battery, I figured at 100 I would replace mine.
