    Hello all,

Newbie question (as I want to learn before I see some things for myself out in the field):

If TX batteries are lower than new, does range decrease gradually; or is it kept at a constant power until they eventually completely die?

the transmitter will beep when batteries get down to four volts,, but common sense would dictate that weeker batteries will have a weaker signal,, i change mine every ten flights.

On the alert below 4v I also read about this.

But on signal strength; it's not for sure - maybe they use something in the chip that retains the same level at all times unless it just dies. Does anyone know?
