Tutorial for iOSD Mini Install?

Hey guys - I'm looking to install the iOSD Mini (actually just bought it) and not sure if i can just install it when i get it or do i need the PMU or Can-Bus.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also how far (roughly) does the phantom 1 fly?

THANKS - will that be the same for the phantom 1? I wasn't sure if it would be the same install in a phantom 1 vs phantom 2.

It should be the same. I don't have a Phantom 1 manual but the IOSD manual does not differentiate between the 1 or 2.

You absolutely need CANBus for the iOSD mini. Whether you get it from adding the PMU-V2 or from soldering up a Phantom Upgrade Board (the Sarawuth mod) is up to you.

Sarawuth is lighter weight and more elegant, but the PMU is safer if you want to expand the bus to use more than just iOSD.
