Trying to repair p3 pro.

Hi guys. Here is my situation and I hope someone knows better than me.

I have 2 p3 pro units. Both crashed and one give an imu calibration warning and can't be calibrated. (Tried the sharp hit on the side). My second has a esc status error which we all know means main board needs to be replaced.

My question is does anyone know if I can remove the black imu module from the top of my mcu that is working and put it on the mcu with the broken imu module and have it work.

Just a thought.

Haven't been anywhere near that myself, but the first couple stills in this video seem to suggest that guy needed to desolder the center of the PCB and remove the whole sub-board. Is that ribbon cable on the accelerometer glued down?
