No success getting a successful imu calibration on my phantom 4. I have tried everything I can think of with no success.

I have downloaded dji assistant 2 to my Sony laptop running Windows 7 but haven't been able to get the drone to connect using a USB to mini cord that I use on my Samsung s7 phone but it never shows up on the dji assistant 2 page. If there is any pictures I need to post to give a better explanation of what's going on please let me know. I really need help with this.

I replace the ribbon last night with a new one from dji and reassembled and powered it up and the same thing happened to the new wire. I ordered a new control board last night so hopefully that's it. What's anyone's thoughts on this.

If you look at the 2 cables in the first photo, the top cable has a burned out section going across it. There must be a short and it could be the processor board ( the gray one)

Need to take care of the abnormal firmware. That isn't the problem but if they don't match sometimes people can't even fly.

No crash that I'm aware of but I did purchase the drone used. I replaced the flight controller board with new ribbon wires and that fixed all my problems. I updated firmware and now I'm ready to get back in the air.
