Trying to figure out my 1.1.1 setup.

Alright, so I've been flying the bird for quite some time now with only the GoPro black 3+ without any gimbal or fpv setup.
I am not read to start adding parts to get the best out of my phantom.

After a few crashes and some stripped screws, I'm thinking about buying the vision shell and transferring the 1.1.1 guts into it, with the intention of using the larger battery bay for a duel batt setup. Any thoughts?

Also, I've been looking at some Gimbals, For the price, I think the tarot gimbal is pretty reliable right? Although it seems pretty heavy at 300+grams compared to the zenmuse. Which gimbal do you guys use and what do you recommend?!

And as far as FPV, what setup are you guys using? Are goggles really that much better than an lcd? What do you guys recommend for this?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to do all this right the first time!

I use the Beholder Lite @Alexmos gimbal and it does just fine. Some little jello though, but it's manageable.

If you can afford it, I would recommend going straight to the Zenmuse--you'll be glad you did later on.

The Tarot is very reliable, easy to install, robust, less finicky and there are also replacement parts readily available.

I would choose the Tarot over the Zenmuse if you are looking at 2D gimbals.
