I am trying to do the upgrade to restore software after a crash, repair and reassembly. I am getting a message "network error,please check your connection to the internet and restart the application". what Might the problem be?

I ask as there is also a 'driver' that must be loaded as well.
It's a reach and maybe I'm forgetting something or off in the wrong direction as it has been a while since I hooked up my P2 and I'm not a I.T. guy (I know you are asking about a P1, just saying).
