So I am currently working on a senior engineering project for NOAA and I am trying to set up two separate camera gimbals for a go pro and an IR camera. The purpose of the two gimbals is to have the go pro be able to yaw 360 degrees as well as pitch at least 90 degrees, while the IR gimbal only needs to pitch 90 degrees, and NOAA wants them to move independently of each other.
I have found software online called SimpleBGC that can control all three degrees of freedom, and I was wondering if it was possible to connect the three to a single gimbal controller, then connect that controller to one of the DJI Matrice UART ports to control the gimbals through a single remote controller.
