Tracking text. Don't have Adobe After Effects

Hi all.

Been looking for a way to add tracking text to videos but I don't have Adobe After Effects. Find it to expensive for hobby use. I would however like to find a way to add tracking text to a video. Found tutorials on YouTube for iMovie but it was a lot of hassle and the end result is very shaky. Want it to look smooth and professional... Anyone knows of a good cheap software that can handle this?

You aren't going to get true "professional" quality with any of the less expensive software packages out there, but you can try this. It's relatively inexpensive and does the job for me. And a professional videographer I am not. Its free to try.
