By the way, sorry your having issues and trouble with the bird now, I updated and my bird is actually better now at the height dropping thing, I had only started to get this phenomenon in last couple weeks, it seemed to then have gotten a little worse, but seems to be much better now, it's been really gusty and windy here so flying has been rare last couple weeks

Update, I did get a Trackimo, and lo and behold, it has a ring tone that can be activated from its tracking software. I did also buy a $20 key finder type device, but at that price point, the range is so limited, that it is not usable.

I have finally settled on an iPad Mini 4 as my rc device. I was having a bit of trouble with my Samsung Galaxy Note. I also upgraded to the latest firmware and my p4 seems to be behaving much better. Altimeter is off at low levels, but I am sure there is a calibration for it in there somewhere.

Tile has a pathetic range and the sound it makes is barely a whisper.

Tile works off Bluetooth. You have to be within 150 feet of its last location to find it.
