First off, the DroneD1 is almost more fun to fly than my Hubsan X4.

I was flying the DD1 in my yard one day and as I brought her in it bounced off the patio then hit the ground. I noticed when it hit I could see one of the props fly off but when I took a super, I mean super close look I could see the hair sized motor shaft on one of the cc motors snapped clean off. I ordered a new cc motor from a china seller on eBay and three weeks later it showed up. Holy crap these motors are so micro they fit sloppy in a drinking straw!

Anyway I put on my jewlers glasses and performed a micro surgery motor swap. Turned out perfect and the DD1 flys perfect once again.

Btw... If anyone ever tries this DON'T drink coffee first! Working on something this tiny with the slightest shake in your hands looks like 10.0 earthquake through the jewlers glasses!
